The tournament is set to take place from April 1 to 3, 2025, at Al Zorah Golf Club in Ajman.
The championship, sanctioned by the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), is a significant event on the regional golf calendar, attracting top amateur players from various categories, including men, women, and U18 juniors. The winner of the men’s overall category will secure a spot in the 2025 Challenge Tour, which will be held in the UAE, further emphasizing the tournament's importance on a competitive level.
The Cedars Golf Championship marks the second round of the Arab Golf Ranking Series, following the conclusion of the first round at the Qatar Open in February. This ranking initiative aims to enhance competition among Arab golfers and provide broader opportunities for amateur players to advance in the global rankings.
The event will feature a 54-hole Stroke Play format and an 18-hole Stableford format, with daily tee times set between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, using a Two Tee Start system. Players will compete for various prize categories, including top placements in both men's and women's divisions, as well as the U18 juniors category and Stableford winners on day three.
The deadline for registration is Thursday, March 27, 2025, with the final draw announcement scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2025. Additionally, special practice rounds will be held on March 31, providing players with an ideal opportunity to familiarize themselves with the course before the official competition begins.
