The Alexandria Sporting Club Team was crowned champion of the first edition of the Super Cup organized by the Egyptian Golf Federation.

The Alexandria Sporting Club team, champions of the Golf League season 2023/2024, consisting of Amr Saleh, Mourad Ghanem, Issa Abu El-Ala, Mohamed Wagdy, Ihab Borai, Marwan El-Khayyat, Ibrahim Ghaleb, Omar Borai, Emad El-Arian, and Mohamed Anwar, successfully defeated the Gezira Sporting Club team, champions of the Egypt Cup season 2023/2024, represented by Galal El-Hamamsi, Omar Farid, Ahmed El-Sheikh, Adam Rizk, Ali Sabry, Sherif Fahmy, Ayman Fathy, Ahmed Fathy, Ayman Sherif, and Mahmoud Sherif.

Alexandria Sporting Club team dominated their counterpart Gezira Sporting Club team with a score 4-0 becoming the first-ever Super Cup champions, just as they were the first league champions and still hold that title to this day.

After the competition ended, Awards ceremony was held, were the Super Cup and medals awarded by the Chairman of Egyptian Golf Federation Eng. Ayman Hussein, his deputy Mr. Teymour Abu El-Khair, board members Mr. Ghassan Qabbani and Mr. Mohamed Attallah, and Chairman of the Competitions Committee Mr. Tarek Azmi.

The Egyptian Golf Federation congratulated the Alexandria Sporting Club team on their victory and wished them continued success, recognizing them as a major pillar in Egyptian golf sport.

The Federation also praised the Gezira Sporting Club team, the oldest golf club in the Middle East and the holder of the first Egypt Cup title, wishing them better luck in future tournaments.
