Strong Competition at the Arab Women’s and Juniors’ Golf Championship in Tunisia

Tunis – The Arab Women’s and Juniors’ Golf Championship continues under the auspices of the Arab Golf Federation, hosted by the Tunisian Golf Federation at The Residence Golf Course in Gammarth.

The championship features the participation of 11 Arab countries: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Oman, Iraq, Lebanon, Qatar, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, and Libya.

The competition witnessed strong performances from the participating players vying for top spots and titles, with the results as follows:

Women’s Category
In the Women’s team category, Morocco took first place, while the UAE secured second, and Tunisia finished third.

Girls Under 16 Category
In the Under 16 Girls team category, the UAE led the overall ranking, followed by Morocco in second place, and Lebanon in third.

Girls Under 13 Category
In the Girls Under 13 category, Tunisia’s Asil Trabelsi dominated the competition, with Salma El Hali from Morocco taking second place, and Tunisia’s Lina Al Barhoumi finishing third.

As for the individual Women’s category, Morocco’s Sophia Saqili is currently in first place, followed by Intissar Riche from the UAE in second, and Jamie Camero from the UAE in third.

In the Under 16 Women’s category, Anka Mateo from the UAE delivered an outstanding performance, placing her at the top, followed by her teammates Asiya Saleem in second, and Sara Abu Bakr in third.

The championship is still ongoing, with the Juniors category starting today, Thursday, where participants are eagerly awaiting the results.
