High-Performance Training Camp for Junior Golfers


The High-Performance Training Camp for Egyptian junior golfers concluded, organized in collaboration between the Egyptian Golf Federation and The R&A, at Palm Hills Golf Club in the 6th of October City, Cairo.

The camp was part of the High-Performance Program in Africa, implemented by The R&A. This was the second camp held in Egypt, as the first camp previously held last year.

Thirteen junior players from the Egyptian national junior team, along with two local coaches, Captain Ezzat Abou elkassem and Captain Adham Hegazy, participated in the AHPP camp.

The training sessions were supervised by a team of coaches assigned by The R&A, included Mr. Stuart Clayton, Mr. Mark Fairbank, and Mr. Kyle Phelan, with the support of the British head coach of the Egyptian national teams, Mr. Steven Burton.

The camp lasted for three consecutive days, with eight hours of training each day, including both theoretical and practical exercises covering all aspects of golf skills, as well as mental conditioning sessions.
