Gulf Golf Championship Concludes with Champions Crowned in Men’s and Junior Categories

The 2025 Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Golf Championship concluded with an exciting finish, showcasing fierce competition among the region’s top golfers. The tournament featured a high level of play, reflecting the sport’s growing development across the Gulf nations.

In the Men’s Individual Category, Ahmed Skaik from the United Arab Emirates delivered an outstanding performance to claim the first-place title. Daniel Sokolov from Qatar secured second place, while Jonathan Silveraj from the UAE finished in third place.

In the Men’s Team Category, the UAE national team dominated the competition, securing the gold medal, while Qatar finished in second place, and Bahrain took third place.

In the Under-18 Junior Individual Category, Salem Al-Abkal from Kuwait emerged as the champion, showcasing remarkable skill to claim the top spot. Adam Al-Barwani from Oman finished second, while Mohammed Thabet from the UAE secured third place.

For the Junior Team Competition, Oman secured first place, while Kuwait finished second, and the UAE claimed third place.

At the closing ceremony, Noah Ali Reza, CEO of the Saudi Golf Federation, emphasized that the championship marked a significant milestone in the development of golf in the Gulf region. He praised the high level of competition and expressed his appreciation to all the teams and players for their participation. He stated:

“This championship is more than just a sporting competition—it serves as a platform to strengthen the fraternal bonds between Gulf nations while reinforcing golf as an integral part of the regional sports landscape. We have witnessed exceptional performances, which highlight the incredible work being done by the Gulf golf federations in developing and refining young talent. We are proud of this remarkable gathering and look forward to seeing more success in future editions.”

As the event concluded, it was officially announced that Oman will host the next edition of the championship. During the closing ceremony, the tournament flag was handed over to the Omani delegation, marking the countdown to the next Gulf Golf Championship.
