A new milestone for AGF - Hani Abdullat becomes the first Arab to attend a R&A rules conference

Hani Abdullat, the technical and operational advisor at the Arab Golf Federation has proudly represented not only the AGF but also the whole Arab world as the first arab to attend an R&A rules conference at the ‘Home of Golf,’ St Andrews, Scotland. 

The R&A invited rules experts from around the world to debate and discuss the current rules of the game to help determine opportunities for improvement as well as to formulate a new 5 year plan for educating the masses on the rules on golf.

At the conference, Hani presented AGF’s new development plans to expand rules education and to grow the number of certified golf referees in the arab world. He was also able to provide the AGF’s take on rule modernisation through the utilisation of the digital world to better inform a wider, younger demographic.
